As seen at The San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design (MCD) MOTO MMXX display 2021
In cooperation with the UK designer ETT, Ambler EV will be starting a production run of the H1L with the goal of completing 50 DOT and road legal motorcycles. These motorcycles will be assembled in Ambler, PA and have the battery pack fabrication done locally. In the meantime, several H1L from the Fast and Furious 8 are being used for development and can be seen at our shop.
The key difference between the H1L and most other electric motorcycles offered in the US today is that the H1L uses a electric motor totally encased in the rear hub, which means there is no drive chain or shaft! There is also no fuel, oil or exhaust, which combined with the light weight, make the H1L suitable for storing in apartments. With a clutch-less single speed transmission, the H1L is the motorcycle for the non-rider. And with no exhaust noise, the experience is closer to sailing.
